Mystic, Connecticut

After a rain out & a reschedule, I am so thrilled I finally got to shoot this engagement session!  I had the honor of also shooting Vicky & Matt’s proposal last year and have been looking forward to their upcoming wedding in May ever since.  They are just two adorable romantics that complete each other.

Originally we planned for this session to take place at the Boston Harbor, but as I hopped on a red eye from Raleigh, Mother Nature had other plans for us. Vicky and I carefully watched the weather channel and realized we had a chance to get a break with the rain near Mystic, CT- so that’s where we went!  With help from my best friend who is also a Connecticut native, we found this beautiful little island off the coast of Mystic called Enders Island and it was absolutely perfect for this session.  They have colorful gardens overflowing with flowers, beautiful stone buildings & a church lined with New England’s notorious stone walls.
