Ahh! I am so thankful this beautiful little family came into my life!  Colleen contacted me looking to set up a newborn session after seeing a session I did for a friend of hers (which you will see later in another blog post).  She was scheduled to have a c-section only a few weeks from when she contacted me and I am SO glad I had an opening.  Colleen’s style is straight out of a Restoration Hardware catalog and their home & nursery could not have been more perfect for their lifestyle newborn session.  The rooms were simple, light & bright, she had perfect little fur throws to use, her girlfriend made an ADORABLE crocheted replica of their dog, Wally, and her mom hand-painted an antique chair with grey chalkboard paint for James’ nursery- which served as a PERFECT photo prop!  Colleen & Todd just wanted to capture all the love & bliss that they had bringing home their little miracle, James and I can honestly say I think we nailed it!  I absolutely LOVE everything about this session and look forward to many more with them!
