Hoboken, New Jersey

Anniversary Sessions….. YES!  This is easily becoming my favorite thing to shoot.  My couples aren’t nervous like they sometimes are at their engagement sessions.  I mean a lot of them have never taken pictures together before their engagement.  There’s no craziness and stress like there can be on their wedding day.  And by the time their one, five or ten year anniversary comes up they are complete pros behind the camera. What better way to rekindle the love and excitement of the day you became husband & wife than to cuddle up on cozy blanket while watching the sun set over the Big Apple like Kim & James did.

While I could write a ten page blog post about whyyyyyyy I adore Kim & James, I’m pretty sure these images speak for themselves.  Kim, not only do you have the best taste in fashion of anyone I know & I constantly want to raid your closet, but the love you have for James is inspiring.  The way you look at him seriously melts my heart.  James, you whole-heartedly compliment Kim.  And I don’t just mean verbally because you clearly do that, but I mean your personalities are unconditionally in-sync.  You’re the peanut butter to her jelly 🙂

I had a blast exploring the waterfront in Hoboken, NJ.  I don’t get to shoot near NYC very often and this session has me swooning to go back ASAP (let me know if I have any takers!)  Kim + James, thank you SO much for letting me celebrate your first anniversary with you and documenting your new move to the city!  I hope we have more sessions together in the future (not just because you look like models 🙂 )
