After three rescheduled dates due to inclement weather, we finally got to shoot this gorgeous engagement session. When I talked with Kristin about what kind of style she was looking for, she was adamant about two things… 1. she wanted to capture the beauty of nature & 2. she wanted to get a picture with their fur baby.
Kristin & Joe decided on Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey and I think it was the perfect fit. After finally getting a gorgeous day to shoot, we were able to just relax and explore the museum together. All the flowers and gardens were in full bloom which made for a gorgeous backdrop & the outdoor museum itself is built along a lake, so they were able to relax and just enjoy the beauty of nature. We made sure to take some pictures on the Ground’s iconic bridge before heading back towards home at the Manasquan inlet to check Kristin’s second “must-have” off her list, some pictures with their pup. Kristin & Joe just bought their first home together in Manasquan, so getting to end their session in their new town was perfect. The inlet is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shoot a session. You have a beautiful rock jetty, the beach & access to the bay side which gives you views of some of New Jersey’s most perfect sunsets.
Kristin & Joe are beautiful people on the inside & out. Their session left me in awe of them & definitely looking forward to their wedding next spring!
